What EXIF data is removed

Camera model, exposure settings (ISO, aperture, shutter speed), timestamps, orientation, embedded thumbnails, and GPS coordinates. XMP descriptors, IPTC authorship tags, and file comments go too.

Color (ICC) profiles are preserved so your photo doesn't change appearance.

When removal isn't enough

EXIF stripping can't undo what's visible in pixels: faces, license plates, house numbers, or text in screenshots remain. Blur or crop those before sharing.
